Helicopter Pilot

Capital Helicopters (1995) Inc. is hiring three (3) Helicopter Pilots, based out of Whitehorse and Haines Junction, Yukon. Applicants will carry out the day-to-day flight and maintenance requirements of a line pilot, including but not limited to:
-flight planning, aircraft preparation and cleaning
-operational gear preparation and maintenance
-conducting daily inspections and elementary maintenance on company aircraft
-operating company aircraft in a safe and responsible manner
-adhering to all applicable Transport Canada regulations, guidelines and standards
Successful candidates will be highly motivated consummate professionals, both in and out of the cockpit. Customer service, safety and efficiency are of paramount importance. Candidates must be physically fit, capable of lifting heavy objects, and proficient at operating independently in what can be harsh environments.

Terms of Employment

Permanent full-time

Language of Work

Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is a requirement

Wage

$75,000-$120,000CAD/yr, commensurate with expereince

Required Skills and Knowledge

-Experience flying aircraft similar in configuration and complexity to the current fleet (examples include, but are not limited to, Bell 206 or Bell 206 LR, AS350 FX, B2/SD2 or B3, Bell 407)

-1500+ PIC Helicopter

-Valid Driver’s License without restrictions

-Must pass a Category 1 Medical Exam

Additional Assets

-Experience flying and/or working in remote northern communities

-Certified Mountain Course

-Experience in precision, production and mountain external load work
